We are delighted to offer for sale this brand new unworn a Rolex GMT Master II with the model reference 126720VTNR. This watch was acquired from a U.K authorised Rolex dealer and sold straight to us. We have the original sales receipt however to conceal the store we will not share images of the receipt.

This model features a black dial and a two-colour Cerachrom bezel insert in green and black ceramic. Designed to show the time in two different time zones simultaneously during intercontinental flights, the GMT-Master II has come to be recognized for its robustness and versatile appearance.

The distinctively coloured 24-hour hand displays the “home” reference time in a first time zone which can be read on the graduations on the bezel. The traveller’s local time is easily set by “jumping” from hour to hour, thanks to an ingenious mechanism operated via the winding crown: the hour hand can be adjusted forwards or backwards independently of the minute and seconds hands. This allows travellers to adapt to their new time zone without affecting the precision of their timekeeping. The Cerachrom bezel insert features an original colour combination: black and an exclusive green that is reserved for this model.

In addition to conventional hour, minute and seconds hands, the GMT-Master II features an arrow-tipped hand, which circles the dial once every 24 hours, as well as a bidirectional rotatable 24-hour graduated bezel.

Rolex uses Oyster Steel for its steel watch cases. Specially developed by the brand, Oyster Steel belongs to the 904L steel family, alloys most commonly used in high-technology and in the aerospace and chemical industries, where maximum resistance to corrosion is essential. Oyster Steel is extremely resistant, offers an exceptional finish once polished and maintains its beauty even in the harshest environments.

The jubilee bracelet is a perfect alchemy of form and function, aesthetics and technology, designed to be both robust and comfortable. It is equipped with an Oysterlock folding clasp, which prevents accidental opening and the Easylink comfort extension link, also exclusive to Rolex. This ingenious system allows the wearer to increase the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm, providing additional comfort in any circumstance.

The new calibre 3285, a new-generation movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. With 10 patent applications filed over the course of its development, this movement features a Chronergy escapement and a guaranteed power reserve of approximately 70 hours. Like all Rolex Perpetual movements, the 3285 is a certified Swiss chronometer, a designation reserved for high-precision watches that have successfully passed the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) tests. The 3285 is equipped with a Parachrom hairspring, offering greater resistance to shocks and to temperature variations. Its architecture, in common with all Oyster watch movements, makes it singularly reliable.

On this watch, the crown and crown guard are on the left side of the watch case. The date aperture and the Cyclops lens have also moved and appear at 9 o’clock. This required several technical adjustments in terms of the movement and the Superlative Chronometer certification, for which the protocol, as well as some of the final tests, had to be adapted.

This watch is supplied as shown in the images with both of the original inner and outer Rolex boxes, two original Rolex swing tags, two original Rolex booklets, an original Rolex warranty card holder, and an original Rolex warranty card. The card is date-stamped December 2022 when the watch was first supplied new in the UK. (also included is the original till receipt not shown)

This Rolex GMT Master II 126720VTNR benefits from the remainder of the 5-year manufacturer's warranty which is valid until December 2027. In addition like all our watches, it is also covered by a one year warranty with ourselves valid from the point of purchase.
