We are delighted to present for sale this highly desirable discontinued model namely the Rolex GMT-Master II with the model reference 116710LN.
This particular model currently represents excellent value, all Rolex stainless steel model and in particular the professional range are experiencing increasing demand which is reflecting in the prices they are changing hands.
We will without exception present for sale our watches at the highest level.
This watch was originally sold new in Greece, we acquired the watch from the original owner. He sent the watch to service at the Rolex service centre in Greece in January 2022. He had worn the watch between receiving it back from service and selling the watch to us.
We bought the watch from him in April 2022 and upon inspection we then decided prior to resale we would send the watch to the UK Rolex Service centre.
The work done at the Rolex service centre in Greece was a full service to its movement as well as a meticulous refurbishment of the case and bracelet also a new crown was fitted.
The work completed at the U.K Rolex service centre was a meticulous refurbishment of the case and bracelet, a fitting charge, refinish the bezel, replace crystal and replace disk for the bezel. The work came to a total of £314.20 The service stickers remain in place and the watch is unworn since.
A recently serviced by Rolex therefore presented in as close to brand new as possible a chronometer-certified, automatic movement Rolex GMT-Master II model reference 116710LN. Featuring a 40mm stainless steel case, housing a black baton 'maxi' dial with luminous hands and hour markers, a characteristic green GMT hand, and a date aperture at 3 o'clock with an external cyclops. The dial is surrounded by a black ceramic 24 hour GMT bezel. All presented on a full retail length stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet with a secure Oysterlock folding clasp.
As shown in the detailed images this watch is supplied with excellent provenance from the sale of the watch when new: the original inner and outer Rolex boxes, a bezel protector, two original Rolex swing tags, two original Rolex booklets, the original Rolex warranty card holder and the original Rolex warranty card dated September 2012 when first supplied new in Greece.
Also included from the Rolex service completed in Greece is the the Rolex service invoice (in Greek) €577, Rolex service pouch, the Rolex service manual (English version) and the Rolex service warranty card dated January 2022.
Also included from the Rolex work completed from the U.K Rolex service centre is the original Rolex service invoice (£314.20), the new style Rolex service box and the new style Rolex service pouch.
Warranty
This Rolex GMT-Master II 116710LN benefits from the remainder of the Rolex service warranty which expires in September 2024 and one year warranty covered by ourselves valid from the point of purchase.

Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy.
