We are delighted to offer for sale this fine example which is offered with a complete Rolex service remaining unworn since with service stickers intact and untampered.
As with all of our watches we strive to offer them for sale in a truly exceptional condition regardless of the costs involved. In this case, this watch was sent away by us to the UK based Rolex service centre and remains unworn with all the service stickers intact. This watch underwent full service to its movement as well as a meticulous and sympathetic refurbishment of the case and bracelet also a new glass fitted, a new crown fitted and one link was added to make the bracelet full retail length . The work came to a total of £1,536
A recently serviced by Rolex therefore in excellent condition pre-owned 40mm case size yellow gold superlative chronometer, calibre 3255, automatic movement Rolex Day-Date 40 model reference 228238 featuring a champagne Roman numeral dial housing a date aperture at 3 O'clock with an external Cyclops and day aperture in-between 11 & 1 O'clock surrounded by a yellow gold fluted bezel. This particular watch comes on a full retail length yellow gold Rolex President bracelet.
This particular watch is supplied as shown in the detailed images with the original inner Rolex box, the two original Rolex swing tags, one original Rolex manual, the original Rolex warranty card holder and the original Rolex warranty card. The card is dated August 2015 when the watch was first supplied new by an authorised dealer based in the UK.
Additional service provenance included with this watch also shown is the original new style Rolex service box, the original new style Rolex service pouch, the original Rolex service manual and the Rolex service warranty card dated February 2023.
Warranty
This Rolex Rolex Day-Date 40 228238 benefits from the remainder of the Rolex service warranty which expires in September 2025 and one year warranty with ourselves valid from the point of purchase.

Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after.
