We are pleased to offer for sale this recently serviced by Rolex a 228238 presented in excellent condition.
As mentioned above this watch was sent to the UK based Rolex service centre at St. James, Mayfair, London for a complete service where it underwent a full service to its movement as well as a meticulous refurbishment of the case and bracelet. The watch remains unworn since the service with the service stickers still untampered.
A recently serviced by Rolex therefore in excellent condition pre-owned 40mm case size yellow gold superlative chronometer, calibre 3255, automatic movement Rolex Day-Date 40 model reference 228238 featuring a silver Roman numeral dial housing a date aperture at 3 O'clock with an external Cyclops and day aperture in-between 11 & 1 O'clock surrounded by a yellow gold fluted bezel. This particular watch comes on a full retail length yellow gold Rolex President bracelet.
This particular watch is supplied as shown in the detailed images with (not shown the outer box sleeve) both of the original inner and outer Rolex boxes, the two original Rolex manuals, the original Rolex warranty card holder and the original Rolex warranty card. The card is dated July 2017 when the watch was first supplied new by an authorised dealer.
Additional service provenance included with this watch also shown is the original new style Rolex service box, the original new style Rolex service pouch, the original Rolex service manual and the Rolex service warranty card dated February 2023.
Warranty
This Rolex Rolex Day-Date 40 228238 benefits from the remainder of the Rolex service warranty which expires in February 2025 and one year warranty with ourselves valid from the point of purchase.

An excellent transaction. The watch is exactly as described and in very good condition. Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy.
