Rolex Watch Trader are pleased to present for sale this calibre 3135 automatic Rolex Datejust reference 16233. Set in the classic 36mm stainless steel Oyster case, surrounded by the yellow gold fluted bezel and matching yellow gold screw-down crown. The dial is champagne with an attractive sunburst effect, featuring applied gold baton hour markers, Tritium luminous dots, matching gold hands, and date aperture at 3 o'clock. Please note that due to the relatively short Tritium half-life, the luminous effect is no longer visible. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass with a cyclops magnifying lens. Presented on a full retail length bi-metal steel and yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with a stainless steel folding clasp.
In production since 1945, the Datejust line is Rolex's longest running and best known collection. Although certain details of this model may have changed since it was first created, the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and unparalleled reliability. Stunning combination of form and function, this watch was the first automatic Rolex model to feature a date window, and the waterproof Oyster case ensured it was suitable for all occassions.
We sent this watch away to Rolex UK service centre where it underwent a full service to its movement as well as a meticulous refurbishment of the case and bracelet, in addition to being fitted with four links and a brand new clasp. The work came to a total of £1190. The service stickers remain in place and the watch is unworn since the service. First purchased new in 1988 (as confirmed by Rolex), this is one of the earliest examples of its reference.
This particular watch is supplied as shown in the detailed images with the original Rolex inner and outer boxes, service pouch, service booklet, service invoice and the original Rolex service warranty card dated late November 2020.
Warranty
This Rolex Datejust 16233 benefits from the remainder of Rolex service warranty which expires in November 2022 in addition to a one year Rolex Watch Trader warranty valid from the point of purchase.

Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy.
