A pre-owned, in good condition, limited edition, calibre 1887 automatic movement TAG Heuer, model reference CAR2112.FC6267. Featuring a 41mm stainless steel case, housing a unique sunburst brown/grey dial with orange detail. This watch benefits from a recent service carried out by Tag Heuer which included a new leather strap, refurbishment of the case and the movement overhauled. It remains unworn since the work has been completed.
The legendary Carrera has been a canvas for many of TAG Heuer's greatest racing watches, and this lovely Limited Edition is no exception. It's a tribute to the equally legendary Mercedes-Benz SLR 300, one of the most famous race cars in history, which first came to fame when it propelled the great Stirling Moss to victory in both the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio of 1955.
One of the most interesting special edition Carreras, the watch has a striking sunburst brown dial based on the Calibre 1887 model (it also has the phenomenal 1887 movement). With the orange highlights, it's a particularly unusual but captivating colour scheme, replicated on the strap. The dial has the old Heuer logo, while the Mercedes-Benz name appears on the caseback, along with an engraving of a classic SLR.
This watch will fit up to approx. 8¼" (21cm) wrist size with the current strap.

Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy.
