We are pleased to offer this discontinued reference Daytona 116523 which we acquired directly from the original owner.
We are delighted to offer for sale this fine example of a discontinued Daytona variant which carries the model reference 116523. The options on dials available no longer includes what is in my personal opinion understated, elegant and a very well thought out dial colour - a silver, white baton hour markers and gold detailing. Rolex set standards which others find hard to follow. Anyone who studies and keeps a keen eye on horology would struggle to debate otherwise.
An excellent condition, chronometer certified, automatic movement Rolex Daytona 116523. Featuring a 40mm bimetal stainless steel and yellow gold case, housing a silver dial with three gold-outlined sub-dials with gold detail. The dial is surrounded by a yellow gold units per hour tachymeter bezel. All presented on a full retail length stainless steel and yellow gold Rolex Oyster bracelet with a secure Oysterlock folding clasp.
As shown in the detailed images this watch is supplied with both of the inner and outer original Rolex boxes, one original Rolex swing tag, the original Rolex 2002/2003 calendar card, three original Rolex manuals, an original Rolex handkerchief, an original Rolex certificate holder and the Rolex certificate dated April 2002 when first supplied new by the authorised dealer based in Canada.
Additional provenance included are two past Rolex service documents namely an original Rolex service warranty card dated November 2012. The second Rolex service provenance includes the original Rolex service manual, an original Rolex service pouch, the original Rolex service invoice issued by the authorised dealer Michael Spiers £890 (service, glass, crown and polish) and the original Rolex service warranty card dated October 2018.

Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy.
