An extraordinary Rolex Day-Date Masterpiece 18948 with a Rolex service
We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite example of the Rolex 18948 which is accompanied by a Rolex service and remains unworn since. Having been to Rolex the new owner can have total peace of mind that this watch carries excellent uncompromised provenance.
An excellent condition, with all the Rolex service stickers intact, pre-owned 'Z' serial, superlative chronometer certified automatic movement Rolex Day-Date Masterpiece, model reference 18948. Featuring a 39mm yellow gold case, housing a sun-ray effect champagne diamond dot dial with diamond baguettes at the hour markers 6 and 9, a magnified date aperture at 3 o'clock and weekday display between 11 and 1 o'clock. The dial is surrounded by a round yellow gold bezel set with brilliant cut diamonds. Presented on a full retail length yellow gold Rolex Oyster II bracelet.
This particular watch was sent away by us to Rolex service centre where it underwent a full service to its movement as well as a meticulous refurbishment of the case and bracelet, in addition a new glass was fitted. The work came to a total of £756.70. The service stickers remain in place and the watch is unworn since the service.
As shown in the detailed images this watch is supplied with the original inner and outer Rolex boxes, one swing tag, bezel protector, two booklets, Rolex calendar card, Rolex warranty certificate holder, and the Rolex certificate dated March 2007 when first supplied new in the UK. Further, as with all of our manufacture serviced watches included are the service warranty booklet, Rolex service invoice, and Rolex service warranty card dated April 2021.
Warranty
This Rolex Day-Date Masterpiece 18948 benefits from the remainder of the Rolex service warranty which expires in April 2023 and a one year Rolex Watch Trader warranty valid from the point of purchase.

Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy.
