Rolex Day-Date 18138 with factory diamond bezel & shoulders
We are pleased to present for sale this rare Rolex Day-Date model reference 18138.
This excellent condition, pre-owned, chronometer certified automatic movement Rolex Day-Date, model reference 18138. This yellow gold 36mm case size unisex watch features diamond shoulders, and houses a white dial with a weekday window at 12 o'clock, a date aperture at 3 o'clock, diamond baguettes at 6 and 9 o'clock, and diamond dot hour markers otherwise. Please note the the crown logo on the dial is lightly scuffed, and there is a minor manufacturing defect near the 9 o'clock baguette. The dial is surrounded by the original diamond set bezel with "Rolex" at 6 o'clock and protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an external date magnifier. Presented on a full retail length yellow gold presidential bracelet.
This particular watch was sent to our own expert watchmaker, where it underwent a full service to its movement as well as a meticulous refurbishment of the case and bracelet in addition to a new sapphire crystal being fitted. The total cost of the work carried out came to £595.00.
As shown in the detailed images this watch is supplied with both inner and outer Rolex boxes, Rolex note pad, Rolex calendar card, one manual, Rolex certificate holder and the original Rolex certificate dated 10th March 1988 when first supplied new in the UK.

An excellent transaction. The watch is exactly as described and in very good condition. Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy.
