We are pleased to offer for sale this fine example which benefits from a complete and sympathetic restoration and service done at Rolex therefore presenting arguably the finest example available on the secondary market.

As mentioned as with all of our watches we strive to offer them for sale in a truly exceptional condition regardless of the costs involved. In this case this watch was sent away by us to the UK based Rolex service centre. This watch underwent full service to its movement as well as a meticulous and sympathetic refurbishment of the case and bracelet additional work completed as follows: replacement crown and tube, replacement glass, an additional extension link, replacement oscillating weight and replacement clasp, extension link the total cost of the work completed £984
As mention above serviced by Rolex and unworn since a pre-owned bought directly from the original owned an excellent condition pre-owned 34mm case size stainless steel automatic movement Rolex Air King model reference 5500 featuring a black baton dial surrounded by a stainless steel domed bezel on a full retail length stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet.
As shown in the detailed images this watch is suppled with the original certificate only which is dated May 1989 when supplied first new by the Authorised Dealer Seddiqi & Sons (Dubai).
Additional Rolex service provenance included with this particular watch is supplied as shown in the detailed images namely the original Rolex service box, the original Rolex service pouch, the original Rolex service warranty certificate and the original service receipt.
Warranty
This Rolex Air-King 5500 is covered with a two year Rolex service warranty which expires in September 2026 and a two year warranty with ourselves valid from the point of purchase.

An excellent transaction. The watch is exactly as described and in very good condition. Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy. No hard, tough or crazy negotiations, just a pleasant experience all round and a very smooth transaction - the way it should be. I have friends/relatives who have a horological fascination as I do and will be singing Sil's praises to each and every one of them as they need.
